The Hitachi Group exhibited at the "World Future Energy Summit 2016 " held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from January 18th - 21st, 2016 at ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center).

This summit was staged as part of the Masdar Initiative advocated by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces as a concept that aims to create a sustainable society. The summit was attended by Key executives from the UAE authorities, world leaders, international policy makers, industry leaders, investors, experts, academia, intellectuals and journalists. The Summit hosted over 32000 visitors to find practical and sustainable solutions to today's energy security and climate change challenges.

Hitachi group companies’ booth was the center of interest for over 650 visitors during the summit. VIP visitors to the booth included Mr. Yosuke Takagi, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as Royal Prince Sheikh, Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, in addition to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Hamad AI Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
