The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to establish a globally competitive knowledge society, to realize the importance of developing education which is the backbone of society and foundation development, where it focus on human development and investing in the minds of producing knowledge. The shift towards a knowledge society requires a qualified education takes into account the age and needs of the community, the scientific conferences and forums is considered the most important supportive tools to reach to a knowledge society. Therefore the international exhibition and forum for education has been conducted on 19th March 2011 under the patronage of His Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh, with the presence of a large number of VIP's and interested business men in the educational sectors, where 111 exhibitors in the expo, representing 19 countries, from companies, international organizations and local specialities in the fields of education from the expo's eight sectors which are: Curriculum, Educational Equipment, Educational and School Building, Training and Leadership Development, Overall quality and academic certification, Kindergarten, Talents, and Students with special needs all on an area of approximately 7500sqm, the forum has hosted international senior speakers who specialize in the education development, also over 22 workshops has been conducted during the event. In the 4 days expo the number of participants and visitors of the international exhibition and forum for education have exceeded 14,000 attendees. This great event was covered by all local newspapers, satellite channels, websites and social networking (Facebook and Twitter).
